“ The food and service were fantastic. The prices were very good and the atmosphere was great. ”
“ Love the history of Ole's, since 1933. Good food! Staff are very kind and accommodating. ”
“ We love this place. Christy the bartender is the best. We will always come back. Thank you Christy!!!!! ”
“ The interior might be off-putting to some, but try to see things in the context of the times: almost 100 years ago. The Bloomin' Onion was FAR better than Outback, the chicken strip salad was good could use a bit more chicken! I doubt there was more than one or two and it was chopped small to make it appear as if there was more. The wait staff either couldn't hear us or just didn't care, because we had several things we had to sit for a long time to get, as our bloom got colder. It was okay, though. I did feel, as I have for this entire trip, that these restaurants have gotten WAY MORE EXPENSIVE than just a year or two ago. I don't know how people afford to go out as families anymore. When I See a Cobb Salad that's $18-19 I am SHOCKED. ”
“ Truly iconic steakhouse that has been around long before me. My first stop here was in the 90's and most recently in the 2020's! The massic game on the walls isn't for everyone, but for us, it was awesome! It's like the rainforest cafe of the midwest, and real! It's really a spectacle in itself before the food. The food is moderately prices and not too bad! I only had a small salad the last time, but it was fine. If you're traveling along I-80 and see this in Paxton, you have to stop, just once. ”
“ What a gem in western Nebraska. A great place to stop with your kids and see all the taxidermy if that's your thing. My bone in ribeye was excellent, the sides were good and the service was attentive. My kiddo enjoyed his mac and cheese and dessert sundae. They put the all star game on for us and we shot a game of pool before we left. ”
“ A must try! If you're near Paxton Nebraska you have to stop here. The ambience is incredible. The menu has everything for anybody. I believe they have the best fried chicken I ever had. You also need to meet Sam. She is the absolutely nicest and sweetest person our family has ever met. ”
